The dense tropical evergreen rain forests in Kerala's hill stations are teeming with exotic wildlife. This wild side of the state needs to be protected. Amidst all the poaching and species going extinct, there is still a lot of beauty left in the world. It is up to us to protect it, so that future generations can see the diverse animal kingdom in flesh and blood - not in picture books of extinct animals.
